Activating the tuner of the Boss GT-10 / GT-8 with the exp. pedal

It would be nice if we could activate the tuner of our Boss GT-10 without using the tuner button or the ctrl button. Since we don't usually want the audience to listen to our guitar tuning it would be even nicer if the output could be muted automatically. Muting the output is done with the exp. pedal which is often used as a volume pedal.

Therefore we use the exp. pedal to activate the tuner of the Boss GT-10 once the volume is muted

We take one of the eight variable assigns und choose:

Target: TUNER On/Off
Target Min: On
Target Max: Off
Source: EXP PEDAL
Source Mode: Normal (GT-8) / Moment (GT-10)
Source Act.Range Lo: 0
Source Act.Range Hi: 1

Explanation

If the source (the exp. pedal) reaches 0 (Source Act.Range Lo) then the target (tuner) will be switched to "Target Min", which is set to on. If you increase the volume (Source Act.Range Hi: 1 or higher) then the target will be switched off.

Yes, and I was hoping the wah function (light on) could be set independently so has to be just wah, and then when going back to volume function (light off) have the tuner activate in the heal position.

Possible?

it cuts of because you activate the tuner in the heel position and the tuner deactivates the output.

Hi, this is a nice trick, but I am wondering why when I turn on the wah it cuts off completely in the heel position since I did the tuning thing? I expect you may know a cure for this?
